wow. it has been a while since i last blogged... lets just say a lot has happened. i moved to chicago may 2012. these are photos of my first solo show here that i just this morning. check it out in person at

instead of sharing everything that's been going on inside my mind and body for the past 6+ months, i've been writing things down old fashion style - in a sketch book. it's been some crazy times, i tell you.
after flying to michigan for thanksgiving 2011 to visit my mother and extended family, i took a train to chicago to see a place i'd never been and hangout with friends i hadn't seen in a while, who all moved to chicago from california. i spent my travel time checking out art museums, art galleries, street art, live shows, improve comedy, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, vintage stores, boutiques, and parks. i met a lot of amazing people and saw some amazing things. i met a guy... and life has not been the same. a sequence of epic events took place. love. creativity. family emergencies. mind, body, and spiritual turn over. these life changing experiences continued to occur and lead up to april 2012, when i turned 26, peacefully parted with all of my jobs, gracefully moved out of the color jam san francisco, ca space, shared a musical and creative goodbye party with close friends, and made a 5 day road trip to move to the midwest.
maybe some day i'll share the complete story. for now, just check out my new artwork and know that there's lots more in the makings and on the way.
